Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network practice and do not accept insurance. This allows us to offer a more personalized, confidential, and high-quality clinical experience, without the constraints of insurance company policies. Many clients choose to use FSA or HSA cards, which we gladly accept.
Where are appointments held?
We offer both in-person and virtual appointments. In-person visits take place in a welcoming, comfortable office space in Richmond, Virginia. Telehealth is available for clients who prefer the convenience or flexibility of virtual care.
-
Psychiatry via telehealth is available for clients in Virginia and Florida.
-
Therapy via telehealth is available across Virginia and PSYPACT-approved states.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes, we provide in-person psychiatric care and therapy at our Richmond, VA office. This allows clients seeking a psychiatrist or therapist in Richmond to meet face-to-face if they prefer.
How does telehealth work?
Telehealth is a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll meet with your psychiatrist or therapist online from anywhere in Virginia or other PSYPACT states, making therapy and medication management convenient and accessible.
What is the PSYPACT and where can you offer therapy?
PSYPACT is an interstate agreement that allows licensed providers to offer telehealth therapy across participating states. Through PSYPACT, we can see clients in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and other approved states.
How do I pay for sessions?
We require a credit card, debit card, or FSA/HSA card on file to reserve your appointment. Payment is processed securely, and we can provide a ‘superbill’ for you to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.
Do you complete disability or FMLA paperwork?
We do not complete disability or FMLA paperwork during an initial visit. If ongoing care is established, we can discuss these needs on a case-by-case basis.
